The curtain falls. Following a brief, but electrifying existence, the revered Metal guitar legends Vex Vertigo and Drop D. Armstrong meet an early demise due to a dreadful encounter with law enforcement. Now they must jump their way through the planes of hell to save Metal and carry it into the afterlife.

How fast can you climb? 😈🎸

Now available as a ROM file.

Ⓑ Throw Guitar

Special Moves

You can combine a variety of techniques to master your ascension.

Wall Jump - just move to the edges of the playfield.

Bouncy Boost - when your character is spinning, press A the moment you land on a platform, the height of the boost depends on your spinning speed.

Guitar Hook - Throw your guitar to pull yourself onto platforms. As long as your guitar is flying, you cannot die. This can save you in sticky situations near the screen bottom!

Pass-through Jump - You can pass through many platforms quickly if you time your A presses right (or mash A), but be careful, this doesn't reset your guitar!

Scoring - The faster your climb, the higher your score!

Download & installation

Ridiculously satisfying and addicting gameplay that's simple to learn  but hard to master. All the visual effects such as the parallax background look fantastic, The soundtrack is amazing, AND you're telling me this has multiplayer!?!?

Thats metal as all get out
