I promoted your game on my site.

I GLITCHED BÖBL AGAIN

(+1)

i glitched the game and I’m playing it on Provenance

This game was really fun! My favorite part was the cloud section, wish I could hear that cute music in at least a few more screens

@shinystar: Yes, sadly I had to use Retroarch for the first time on my NES Classic MINI. No longer nativ running it seems.

The 1.1 version works on my EZ flash omega but the 1.2 version doesn't

Same here with 3DS

great game i love how it was a little hard!

I tried to study the game as much as I could. By the way, the site speaks Turkish.

The game version 1.1.

I'm having trouble breaking blocks and timing my bounce with the iron bobl.

still the best game on the NES after all these years...

The Böbl Rap

I know I've already played through the entire game, but with this new update I think it's absolutely necessary to do it again

I already played this game before seeing this lol

now I know ware it came from

I have been playing this game for a while now, and I simply LOVE the way its made! The level design is so amazing.. I was about to start drawing my own map of the world last time I took a break from it.. Btw.. Is there such a thing I could purchase maybe...?

This bubblevania is awesome!!!

Here my review in spanish: https://retroorama.blogspot.com/2021/06/indie-review-bobl.html

If I wanted to make a physical copy of Bobl, will the Broke Studios unrom pcb work just fine, and will it still function on the Retrousb AVS?

Hello?

Wooooo

I really love how that levels created to this game. 💙

This game is so cool! the level design is so smart, the art is so nostalgiac, the music is fuggedaboutit :italianhands:. I can't stop playing! Great job! :)

New from the team behind micro mages: Not echo the dolphin! Only for nes.*

*It is only a joke so don't be angry also it is completely different I am sorry if i hurt your feelings

this game rocked!

I collected all the ducks and saw a frog but I cant help but feel like im missing something, maybe to the right of the exit pipe...

edit: 2 frogs, i got that orange frog area duck in entirely the wrong way lol

for anyone playing this on a computer and wondering where the fuck the "B" "A" and such buttons can be found, namely what the controls are in general as there is no menu explaining them:

on my german qwertz keyboard, I had to use 3 buttons:
the L key (yep, I mean the letter L there),
the one with , and ; on it  and
the one with . and : on it

on my keyboard, the last 2 ones are directly below the normal L key.

you will also realize that despite looking like they do the same, 2 of these buttons are used to dive but one of them has some certain effect on the environment. what I mean will make sense once you get the corresponding upgrade and wonder why tf the normal dive doesnt do. then you will wanna use that second key instead :-)

nice game, the world is quite big too so i kind of get lost a lot. finally made it to the sealbomb upgrade and am stuck there cause I dont know how to use it. the normal jumping in the air and landing on the blocks doesnt do anything :-/

beat the game, was quite a nice game once you got past the first upgrade.
after that the world layout became more and more obvious

I love Morphcat's Games <3

This game is so beautiful! I love the water effects,

You have my respect for ever !

Just finished it, fantastic game ^^

I finally got my Everdrive so I can play this on my authentic NES. This is a glorious work of art.

Ok, this is one of those games that should be taught in game design 101 classes. Absolutely perfect execution of feel, world design, level mechanics, exploration, power ups, difficulty progression, twitch challenge and enticement to continue.  Instantly one of my favorite NES games EVER. Utterly brilliant!

I initially grabbed this using "No thanks, just take me to the downloads", but after playing it, had to come back and donate a few bucks to support this effort.

Now, when are we going to get a full version of Super Bat Puncher? :D

Is there or is there going to be a physical release? I'd play money to get this on a real cart. I can run it via flashcart yeah, but I want a real cart! This is a gem.

Super fun little game

what framework did you use to create a nes game? did you write it in 6502 assembly from scratch? or did you do something like.... pyNES

ok! :D

Seriously love this project, I'm amazed by how you can fit such good games into such small spaces, bravo!

Would love a physical NES cart and a Windows PC version (non nes rom file).

We on that Böbl! Best indie game of the year for me. Highly addictive and ideal for speedrunning. Such a fun lil gem.

First playthrough was a lot of fun, second playthrough was a lot of fun, now I'm speedrunning it, and I don't want to stop! Great visuals, great music, amazing physics, and no RNG. I love it!

Hi guys, i recorded a walthrough of Bobl, taking all items. Really, an incredible game!

(+2)

mmmm, yes. thank you.

Really cool use of sprites to get the water looking natural. I really hope too see a full version, or maybe even a randomizer someday. I had a ton of fun playing this, but I want to know about the frogs...

Awesome game, I love it!

got stuck at one point in the beginning of the game, had to run around in circles and finally decided to  just reset the game altogether and voila! I found what I was missing. haven't made it that far into the game, yet, but I already like it.

based on my experience so far:

✔️ interesting unique game mechanics

✔️ good graphics and animation

✔️ simple & smooth movement and controls

✔️ good sound effects. I'm not a fan of 8-bit music but I'd say the game's music is good.

✔️ good level design (except maybe for the part in the early stage of the game where, if you miss the intended route to be able to progress, you'll find yourself stuck because (1) you're brought too far back for making a wrong turn and (2) too many open paths that loop around so it can be hard to find your way back into the right path again)
